## UK August new car registrations up more than 20%- SMMT   (Reuters) – New car registrations in Britain rose for the 13th consecutive month in August, rising more than 20% from a year earlier, preliminary industry data showed on Tuesday.    The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) will provide the final figures for the month at 0800 GMT.        (Reporting by Amna Karimi in Bengaluru; Editing by Tomasz Janowski)
