Simon Bell, Founder of www.careermap.co.uk, commented:
“When it comes to the topic of apprenticeships, they’re often associated with the younger generation however, apprenticeships can be taken on at any age and provide great career pathways for anyone who is looking for a helping hand into a particular sector. For ambitious individuals who are interested in an apprenticeship, getting expert career advice on which one to choose would certainly be beneficial, as there are thousands of apprenticeships and courses on offer, it can at times, be overwhelming to know which one is right for you.”
“Similar to any job, the number of apprenticeships in each region of the UK varies and depending on which industry interests you the most, it may mean you will need to travel or even move to a different area for the position. Whilst this prospect is daunting, apprenticeships can certainly improve your employability once completed and allow you to train whilst earning a salary. In addition to this, the experience gained will be invaluable, allowing you to develop practical skills and an understanding of the industry that you will need to excel in future roles.”
